Masters Division Finals
Sunday, January 4, 2026
Doors Open at 11:00am
Starts at 12:00pm sharp

Teams will play each other twice per week on the schedule. Please text your roster/changes of 3-4 players to the League Operator, Julie Rambali, at 416-409-9783. Official Start Time is 1:00pm. You may contact your opponents Captain in advance to see if they’re interested in starting earlier at 12pm.

  • No Team Skill Level Limit.

  • Open to anyone form any CPA region. Does not need to be on a weekly CPA league team.

  • Up to a max of 4 players on a roster. Teams may choose any 3 of the 4 team members to participate in each match.

  • Must have at least 1 CPA skill level 6 or below on the roster. Can only have 1 CPA skill level 7/9 on a roster.

  • Team Fee is $30 per team match and you will be playing the same team twice each Sunday for a total Team Fee of $60. There is a $20 green fee per team to pay the host location. Once your team matches are over, you must immediately return the rack of balls to the front counter. If you wish to continue playing, please inquire and pay the hourly rate to the host location.

  • Team Scoresheets will be available at host locations so please ask the staff for the red CPA envelope. Once all your matches are completed, please place both scoresheets on the pool table, take a photo of it and text it to 416-409-9783. You may then put the scoresheets back into the red CPA envelope and return it to the staff.

  • Full Team fees of $60 must be sent via Email Money Transfer (EMT) to admin@cpapool.ca with the team name in the EMT description. EMT must be sent by either the Captain or 1 designated player on the team by the end of the night or next day by 11:30am the latest. The Captain or designated player can still collect all fees from everyone by cash or EMT directly to them.

    • Matches must be played on 2 tables. At least 2 players should be there on time to start match 1 & 2 on 1 scoresheet week or match 1 on both scoresheet weeks, the latter should be agreed upon. If the 2nd player is not there, please give them a 15 minute grace period before declaring it a forfeit at 1:15pm. If a 3rd player is not available by the time the next table becomes available, that match is a forfeit.

    • Double-play is allowed. One player may play twice in a team match except for skill level 7/9. Teams may only exercise this option 6 (six) times and may not exercise this option in the last 4 (four) weeks or in post session play. It's continuous play so no waiting on the double-play player.

    • If your team plans to reschedule or pre-play matches due to inclement weather or have conflicts with other pre-qualified CPA/APA obligations, you must notify the Local League Office immediately for a date, time, and location to complete the match(es). All rescheduled or pre-play matches must be completed all together on another day designated by the Local League Office. Without approval, the double-play and/or forfeit option must be used if teams are short a few players.

    • Full team fees are due regardless of individual forfeits by both teams. Individual match forfeit is 5 points. If a team chooses to forfeit an entire team match (this should never happen) then the team who is forfeiting must pay the full team fees for both teams (Full team forfeit of 3 matches is 15 points). Teams that drop out will be required to pay their team fees for the remainder of the session.

  • Top 3 teams in the standings at the end of the session and 1 Wild Card team will compete at the Masters Division Finals; subject to change based on team count per Division.

    • Finals and Wild Card eligibility may be lost if a team has more than 7 forfeits and a past due amount at the end of the session.

  • All players must have at least 10 (ten) matches played in the Masters Division to be eligible to play in the Masters Division Finals and at the APA Masters Championship in Las Vegas.

    • At the Finals, 1 winning team gets to compete in the APA Poolplayer Championships (PPC) in Las Vegas May 2026 with flight and hotel assistance provided. The runner-up team will receive an entry into the Montreal Invitational March 2026.

    • Winning team/players must be active in the Masters Division or on a weekly standard 8-Ball format team in the CPA Toronto/Peel region in order to maintain their eligibility.
