REAL ID Goes Into Effect Shortly After APA Poolplayer Championships
Players attending the 2025 APA Poolplayer Championships in Las Vegas should take note that beginning May 7, residents of every U.S. state and territory will be required to present a REAL ID-compliant driver license or ID card, or another form of ID accepted by the Transportation Security Administration, to board federally regulated domestic flights.
If you’ll be attending the World Pool Championships in August, you’ll need to be REAL-ID compliant if you plan to travel by plane.
We encourage everyone to check their ID, and if it’s not REAL-ID compliant, visit your local Department of Revenue for more information on applying for one in plenty of time.
