Starting with the Summer TriCup in Sep we will be adding a continuation tournament to the current TriCup and moving the money to this tournament. So rather then giving 20 to 30 teams $340 for winning 2 matches in TriCup, the money will be put to this tournament, that will be played a few weeks later with all the teams who won WPQ Qualification. Teams that win are not required to play in this tournament. This tournament will be a single elimination team tournament, the first place 8 Ball Team will win $5000, 2nd place will win $1000, the first place 9 ball team will win $3000 and the 2nd place team will win $1000. It will be played at the opposite location of the TriCup, for example the TriCup in Sep will be at Bluegrass so the money tournament will be played at Daly's. The only difference for the TriCup will be that no money is given out, teams that win their 2nd match will receive their WPQ Qualification, still get the chance for the free room and will automatically be invited to the money tournament.
