THAT'S A WRAP! Our 1st Annual Manasota APA Shoot for a Cure Qualifier is completed! The 1st and 2nd place winners of our 1st Annual Doubles Event are: Just Shoot and Mike & Sydney!

Just Shoot will be representing Manasota APA in the Memphis APA Shoot for a Cure Tournament in December, and the first ever Doubles team from Florida to attend the event!!!

22 Teams came out to compete, and again, I am WOWed! Intense Competition, Exceptional Sportsmanship, donations from local businesses within our community and the heart of the participants the past two weekends have filled my heart! We are so honored to be on Team Manasota APA!

Our first goal of $5000 was exceeded during our team event, so we set the bar higher! We are currently sitting at $6,342! That's $658 away from our 2nd goal of $7000! YOU DID THAT!!!

I will be posting more photos taken during the Team and Doubles event, there are MANY, so please bear with me.

I will also be introducing you to the incredible sponsors and donors who where a large part of this fundraising event on short notice. We already have Sponsors lining up for next year, and a fundraising committee that is growing!

Tom Sexton who plays in the league, and also a member of the AMI Privateers, helped again this weekend with setting the final pieces in place this morning, helped deliver scoresheets and stuck around to the end to watch shots and help where a need would arise.

Christine Claxton, with Marcus Realty came out and helped with the event, as well as helped with many things behind the scenes. If you need a "Home Girl", She's one of the best!

South Florida Elite, and Rodney Hope Donated Sports memorabilia and a tailgate party in a cooler, and even included the grill!! WOW! They also helped get donated items for the raffle table to include donations from: Inspired Living, Hooters and Food & Beer.

Rodney Hope and Tom helped with tear down and loading after the event came to a close.

So many hands helped in making this an event to remember! We are incredibly grateful to ALL who donated, participated, and made an IMPACT in the lives of the Children and Families that St. Jude's will help. YOU DID THAT, and we got to be a part of it! THANK YOU!
