ATTENTION Manasota APA, We are excited to announce 2 tournaments in September that will send 1-8 ball Doubles Team and 1- open format Team to The Memphis APA Shoot for a Cure Event in December! This will be a fundraiser event and all proceeds will go to St. Judes' Research Hospital. Start building your team, we are opening it up to ONLY 32 teams, registration will open soon! Let’s do this for the kids, EVERY SHOT MATTERS ♥️

September 20-21

8 Ball Captain Style Team Event

Must be an active Manasota APA member
$150 early bird entry (before August 31)
$200 entry after August 31
$50 of entry goes to St. Jude
$100 of entry toward Travel Assistance to Memphis event
Limited to 32 teams
Must have 8 ball or 9 ball skill level based on 10 scores in the last two years by September 1
Must be on an active session roster
5-8 players per team, 23 Rule applies
Modified Single Elimination

September 27-28

8 Ball Scotch Doubles

Must be an active Manasota APA member
$80 early bird entry (before August 31)
$100 entry after August 31
$20 of entry goes to St. Jude
$60 of entry toward Travel Assistance to Memphis event
Limited to 32 teams
Must have 8 ball skill level based on 10 scores in the last two years by September 10
Must be on an active session roster
Max skill level is 12
Modified Single Elimination

Doors open at 8am for both events
Both Events will be continuous Play
Players meeting will begin at 8:50 am
Payouts will be based on FULL Field
Sudden Death will be implemented
No Roster Changes accepted after September 5

We will have raffle ticket drawings and Silent Auction.

We have Sponsorship Opportunities available, and Donations are being accepted.

Winning Teams will represent Manasota APA in the Shoot for a Cure Memphis Tournament, held at The Fitz Casino Hotel in Robinson, Mississippi Dec 5-7th, 2025 (Players must be 21 or older to attend this event).

We will announce on the Manasota APA Facebook Page when we will open up registration. In the meantime, start build your teams!
