Hello everyone, we have been receiving a lot of questions about why the Spring session will now start early December so I figured I will write it out the explanation.

In short, this change has been made to help with the calendar and not load too many weekends in a row of tournaments solely for the players.

As you may remember the World Pool Championship used to be at the very end of August but is now taking place the first week of August. That recent move-in dates has forced us to squeeze all the tournaments together and pack May/June/July sometimes with back to back tourneys. By starting our Spring session early we will be able to spread those more again and avoid all holidays in the process.

Again I want to reiterate this change has been made after listening to you guys and in order to improve the league.

Please keep in mind all the Division Reps have known about it for a while so if you have any additional questions they should all be able to answer in more detail.

PS: this doesn't change anything to our sessions, the Spring session still is the qualifying session (aka the most important one) and we also will still have the Christmas break in the calendar, we will just be on week 3 of the spring when the Christmas break takes place rather than starting the session after it.

Also don't forget we have the NEW $5,000 Added coming in 2024 that will be available for all teams that play all 3 sessions of the league year. (Summer 2023, Fall 2023 & and Spring 2023/2024)
