Here's a few useful tidbits of information about GSAPA's World Qualfier, the winners of which will advance to the World Pool Championships in Las Vegas...

General Information
This is the Tournament of the Year! All teams playing have qualified to play for a spot at the largest World Pool Championships Ever! These teams will compete for their share of the over $1,000,000 and the ultimate prize - being crowned the APA World Pool Champions!
The GSAPA World Qualifier tournament is held once a year and is considered a Higher Level Tournament. This year's tournaments are planned for June 3rd/4th (8-Ball) and June 10th/11th (9-Ball), subject to change.
Teams from 8-Ball and Teams from 9-Ball will advance to the APA World Pool Championships held in Las Vegas at the Westgate!
- All teams that are participating must have a Team Skill Level Certification Statement signed by each member of the team and turn it in prior to the start of the tournament. This form will be available in Spring of 2023.
- Teams earn their spot into this tournament by being Tri-Cup Champions from the Summer, Fall, or Spring session.
Remaining Eligible for the World Qualifier
- Every eligible team must maintain active team status and must play in the Spring Session and the following Summer Session to maintain eligibility.
- If a team qualified in the Summer Session, they must participate in the Fall, Spring, and following Summer session with at least four original members on the team.
- If a team qualified in the Fall, they must participate in the Spring and following Summer session with at least four original members on the team.
- A team's Spring Session Week 4 roster is their World Qualifier roster even if the team had a different roster when they qualified.
- A team that qualified in the Summer or Fall session can make changes as needed as long as four original members remain on their roster from the time they qualified.
- Note: a qualified team of eight may split into two teams with four original members each, and both teams could still meet the eligibility criteria above.
- All qualified players must have a skill level based on ten lifetime matches and those matches must be attained by the end of the Spring Session prior to the World Qualifier.
