The following guidelines are the updated unofficial Greater Seattle APA policy for approving roster changes after Week 4.  

Players Joining a Roster on or After Week 5

All such roster changes are considered on a case-by-case basis, but they will generally be...

• Approved, if the player is filling an empty roster slot on a newly formed team
• Approved, if the player is backfilling a roster slot for a player who is moving, has a medical condition, or other unusual circumstance preventing them from being able to play out the league season.

Note that teams qualified for the World Qualifier have additional roster change restrictions outlined in the OTM pp 76-79.

The player will need to meet minimum MP (Matches Played) requirements to participate in the postseason Playoffs or Tricups.  

Teams Joining a Division on or After Week 5

That team will not be eligible to participate in the postseason Playoffs or Tricups, unless an exception is approved. However, they can play for fun or to get ready for the next season. The schedule will be updated and re-released with the new team on it, they will start in last place, and they can compete with the rest of the division for the 1st place trophy.
