Brackets and Rosters for the 2025 8-Ball World Qualifiers are now posted.

We are excited and looking forward to finding out who will take home their share of the $32,250 in cash, tournament entries, and travel assistance.

Grand Prize:

3 Teams will earn $8,000 in travel assistance and $250 in tournament registration fees

Runner Up:

Three teams will earn $1,000 in Cash and a $500 tournament entry into the 2025 Southeast Challenge, which will be held in September in Jacksonville, Florida.

3rd Place:

6 Teams will earn $500 for their finish

Please check the Tournament brackets and verify your team's first-round start time. Teams will have certification forms included in your weekly envelopes; these will be required at check-in and must be turned in no later than 30 minutes prior to our start times. Players who are not present and have not signed their certification form prior to the start of the round will not be allowed to play if they show up AFTER the round starts, but will be permitted to play in the following rounds, provided they have signed the Team Certification form. DO NOT WALK IN 5 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE START AND EXPECT TO PLAY.

Teams that play on Saturdays, Mondays, and Fridays must fill out their form on site, the Captain or C0-Captain should be on site by 6pm to get their teams certification form. The above guidelines are still applicable: DO NOT WALK IN 5 MINUTES BEFORE THE START, AND EXPECT TO PLAY.

Remember, players must be active in APA of Central Florida during the summer session to play in the World Qualier.

Players must certify themselves at:

(1) the skill level that the player and the Team believe represents the player’s best pool playing ability,

(2) the player’s highest APA assigned skill level in any APA League area in which the player currently plays,

(3) the player’s session-ending skill level in the session in which the Team qualified for this Tournament,

(4) the player’s highest session-ending skill level in any session after the session in which the Team qualified for this Tournament,

(5) the skill level assigned to the player by a Handicap

Advisory Committee for a Local League, or APA’s Handicap Review Committee (the “HRC”),

(6) the skill level assigned to the player during any

prior Higher Level Tournament (including any prior National Singles Championships, National Team Championships, Poolplayer Championships, or World Pool Championships) or Higher Level Tournament qualifier (except in the rare circumstance in which APA has granted a previously requested exception submitted by the League Operator of a Local League in which the affected player has played).

Team Captains: If you believe there is an error with your roster, you will have 48 hours until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 5/28, to bring your concerns to our attention by texting 407-703-9001. We will not discuss any skill levels with anyone but the player in question.

Players: If you have a concern about your starting skill level, you will also have 48 hours until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, 5/28, to bring your concerns to our attention by texting 407-703-9001.

As always, there will be apparel giveaways, Cue raffles, 50/50's, and cue repair on site, so bring cash!

The Moose will have food available, so no outside food will be allowed in. Smoking or vaping is also not permitted inside the building. If you are caught doing either, you will be told to leave and not permitted to return.

We will have a Captain's meeting 15 minutes before the start of the 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday rounds. Do not be Late!

Rounds may start up to 1 hour before the official start time, and teams are responsible for being on site 1 hour before the round time. If we can start early, we will.

Sudden Death will be used during this tournament and will start 3.5 hours after the round has begun.

The only rule we changed is the Timeout rule. Everyone still gets 1 timeout regardless of skill level; however, once a timeout has been called or suggested by anyone, it must be taken and cannot be refused.

Sorry for no live draw today. Facebook is being difficult and will not allow me to post a live or recorded video for some reason that I am unable to figure out. Hopefully, I'll work it out and can live stream the matches at the Moose. Fingers crossed.

Good Luck and Great Rolls to Everyone Playing!
