Special Announcement for Central Oklahoma APA players.

Based on your feedback, we requested to be included in the list of early adopters for Electronic Scorekeeping for Tournaments, and our area has been selected to run a Tri-Annual test! This is truly an honor and an exciting time for not only us but APA!

What this means for our Tri-Annuals...

- We will be keeping score both on paper and in the Scorekeeper App for matches. While we understand this is a big ask, it is truly the only way to verify all aspects of the new programming.

- We will be providing feedback on usage and issues to help further the progress, so please let us know what you think. There will be a feedback sheet for every team to submit your thoughts.

- We will be doing all of the normal work in addition to running this test, so your cooperation and understanding are extremely important if issues arise and things don't necessarily go as planned.

This is an exciting development that many have been anxiously awaiting. This is also a privilege and honor for us to be asked to test and provide feedback on this new tool in a Tri-Annual environment. We hope you are as excited as we are and look forward to seeing everyone very soon!

Let's go over some details so everyone is prepared and on the same page...

*Please have someone from your team on site by 6:15. We will have our Captain's meeting a little early so we can cover the additional details of the tournament and using the app.

*All teams are welcome to use the app to score. However, all "visiting" teams (on right side of scoresheet) will be required to keep score on paper. All Home Teams (on left side of scoresheet) will be required to score on the App. You will have an instructional sheet on your clipboard for the APP teams.

*The scoring will be almost exactly the same as how you score on regular league nights. You will go into your app as usual and filter to Summer Session. Your match will be there under Tournaments. We will release your match on Friday, please do not go into the match until you are at Mr. G's. 

MORE TRI-ANNUAL REMINDERS...

*We have a lot of teams in this one, so seating is only guaranteed for 4 people + shooter per team. There may be some extra seats here and there, but not guaranteed. Please make sure to keep the aisle free between sitting tables so players and staff can navigate the room without interrupting play on tables. Store Cue Cases and misc under the pool tables or sitting tables.

*Tri-Annuals are non smoking or vaping inside, there will be a smoking area set outside. 

*Rosters include all players from your SUMMER roster that are still on active 9 Ball APA rosters and completed their required matches within the session. All players needed 4 matches, new to APA players needed 7 within Summer Session.

*Players play at their current skill level OR their SUMMER session ending skill level, WHICHEVER IS HIGHER.

*Payouts for teams will depend on where your team finishes in the tournament. The amounts will be on the bracket. All teams are guaranteed at least $160. Due to our new qualification structure (1 week playoffs) many more teams are in the tournament. The amount contributed to the tournament is the same as before and based on summer session team count but spread out to all teams. Total payout for the tournament is $14,560!!!! Plus, you no longer have to pay quarters to play!!! All tournament tables will be open!!! It is important to us that this be a free tournament for everyone.
