Summer Session starts Today!

Hello Brevard APA players, today starts our Summer session, which will run until August 1st. We have 3 holidays this session, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, where there will be no play. There is a lot going on this session with several Tournament weekends. Please check the Schedule of Events on www.brevardapa.com to get updated dates for anything we have coming up. Please remember during the first week there could be some shuffling in the divisions. Be prepared to play even if your match says you have a bye. If any teams are wanting to be added or dropped please call or text us at 321-252-8080.

Starting this session we will be using different envelopes. There will be a plastic jacket with an insert that will go out to the same team every week. On the insert is a grid for teams to put who paid what every week. TURN THE ENVELOPE AND THE FILLED OUT INSERT EVERY WEEK, EVEN IF YOU DO NOT PLAY AT ALL OR PLAY A PARTIAL MATCH. If you played a partial match, turn the envelope in with who paid and their $$, if there are matches to be left to played we will be circling those and when they get filled in later we will cross it out. We want all teams to be able to match what is on the ledger with what is past due or credited to the team on a weekly basis. By putting this in place we will now be enforcing any team over $50 past due will have their captain removed if an explanation has not been given. If a team then becomes more than $100 past due they will be contancted to resolve the matter or be removed from their division. If teams have valid reasons for the past due then we are always happy to work with them. What we are trying curb is captains who take the league fees from players on the team and then not turning them in.

We will be posting the lists shortly for Spring MVP to be held on May 4 at Poolies in Palm Bay.
We will have the Spring 8-Ball and then the Spring 9-Ball Tri-Annual eligible teams posted by the end of the week. These tournaments are at Pockets and Putters for 8-Ball on the May 9-11 weekend and at Island Breakers for 9-Ball on the May 16-18 weekend.
