This weekend the first 2 of our 4 Doubles for VEGAS tournaments are being held. Saturday Jan 25 will be 9-Ball doubles at Island Breakers. Sunday Jan 26 will be 8-Ball doubles at Pockets and Putters. Both days doors will open at 9am with a players meeting at 10am and play to start shortly after. For the 8-Ball doubles event, any player who is on an active 8-Ball team and with 20 8-Ball matches played in the last 2 years by March 3, 2025 is eligible to play. Teams are comprised of 2 eligible players with a maximum combined handicap of 10 on the day of the event. Entry fee is $40 ($20 per player) with 100% of this money will go to pay 2nd through 8th place (places could change, based on roughly 25% of the field). The tournament will be double elimination with 32 or fewer teams or modified single elimination (guaranteed at least 2 matches but becomes single elimination after the 3rd round of the winners side) if there are 33 or more teams.  

For the 9-Ball doubles event, any player who is on an active 9-Ball team and with 20 9-Ball matches played in the last 2 years by March 3, 2025 is eligible to play. Teams are comprised of 2 eligible players with a maximum combined handicap of 10 on the day of the event. Entry fee is $40 ($20 per player) with 100% of this money will go to pay 2nd through 8th place (places could change, based on roughly 25% of the field) and the first place team winning the trip to Vegas with flight, hotel and entry paid into the Vegas Championships in late April/early May . The tournament will be double elimination with 32 or fewer teams or modified single elimination (guaranteed at least 2 matches but becomes single elimination after the 3rd round of the winners side) if there are 33 or more teams.  

The remaining 2 doubles events are Jack and Jill 8-Ball on Saturday February 15 at Poxkets and Putters and another 9-Ball doubles at Poolies on Sunday February 16. Structure and eligibility are the same as above with Jack and Jill adding the requirement that the teams are comprised of 1 male and 1 female player.
