Spring Session Raffle Details

Take a chance and try the Scorekeeper APP. Between now and February 29th your team will be entered in the drawing just for opening the app and trying. This is even if you just score a match or two. Between March 1 – May 10, you team will need to fully score your teams match in the app to earn Raffle tickets.

The app is free to download. In your app store search for APA Scorekeeper. 

You could win a 2-night stay at the Westgate Hotel & Casino during the 2024 World Pool Championships

Drawing will take place during the 2024 Cities/World Qualifiers in June. We will 1st draw a Team Name, the players from this team will then be entered for the chance to win the 2-night hotel stay! The player drawn will win a 2-night stay (room & tax) at the Westgate during the 2024 APA World Pool Championships. The World Pool Championships are scheduled for August 8-17, 2024

General ScoreKeeper Information

When using Scorekeeper, please write scored on the app on your paper scoresheet.If the app shoud cause issues, please revert to the scorsheet to finish scoring the match. 

IMPORTANT! DO NOT use the app until the actual match begins! These matches are live. If you score the match and submit it for “practice” it will no longer be available for you to score on League night!

PARTIAL MATCHES - If you need to submit a partial team match, you may click on the Submit button at the bottom of the Scoreboard. The App will tell you which matches are being submitted. The remaining matches will remain in your App to score at a later time. The submitted matches will no longer be available for editing.

SPLITTING MATCHES - The App allows multiple matches to be scored simultaneously. Once the match is in progress, pull that match screen down from the top, select the next players involved in next match and press start. You then will pull the match screen down from the top to bounce back and forth between both matches. Or a team member will need to open the team match in the App, then from the Scoreboard, select a new match to score. Only one member will need to submit the scores at the end of the night.

FORFEIT – Individual - To forfeit an individual player match in the app, select the three dots next to the player's name. This will give you the option to forfeit. Team - If a team finds it necessary to forfeit individual matches due to a shortage of players, the forfeit(s) must be the last match(es). If a team knows they will be short players, they cannot choose which individual matches to forfeit.

STALEMATE - To score a stalemated game in the app, select the three dots next to the player's name. Select the "End Rack Early" option from the menu then select the blue End Rack early button to confirm. The rack will be reset but the points earned stand. The innings and Defensive Shots remain and all balls left on the table are marked as dead balls.

Location Change For Summer 8-Ball Top Shooters

Due to unforeseen circumstances the location for the 2024 Summer Session 8-Ball Top Shooters has changed. 8-Ball Top Shooters will be taking place at Breakers on Saturday September 21, 2024. Skill Level 6-7 will begin at 10:00am, Skill Level 5's will begin at 1:00pm, Skill Level 4's will begin at 4:30pm, & Skill Level 2-3 will begin at 7:00pm.
2024 Fall Session Updates

As the Summer Session comes to an end and we begin to look forward to the Fall Session. This year brings many exciting changes to the Bakersfield APA. The World Pool Championships in Las Vegas has come to and end, the teams that made the journey had a great time. It’s a cool experience, walking through the three tournament rooms seeing a sea of what seems like never ending tables. One of my favor
