🎱 Dunagan Cup 2026 – Eligibility Requirements 🎱

We’re excited to share the official eligibility criteria for the 2026 Dunagan Cup! To qualify for the player pool, you must meet ALL of the following:

1️⃣ Total Matches in 2026

• At least 45 total matches played across Spring 2026, Summer 2026, and Fall 2026
• All formats count toward the 45 matches
• Exception: 9-Ball SL 7–9 only need 35 matches

2️⃣ Played All 3 Sessions in 2026

• You must have played in Spring, Summer, and Fall 2026

3️⃣ Active & In Good Standing

• Must be active on a Spring 2027 APA Austin roster
• Must be in good standing (fees/dues paid, not under suspension, etc.)

4️⃣ MVP Status in 2026

• You must have finished in the Top 3 in MVP standings in any format during one of the 2026 sessions

5️⃣ New Field for 2026

• You did NOT play in the 2025 Dunagan Cup🔁 Exception:
  If we don’t get enough players registered at a specific Skill Level, we may open registration at that SL to 2025 Dunagan Cup participants to fill the field.

6️⃣ Captain Exemption (Defending Champions)

• The 2 Captains from the winning team of the previous Dunagan Cup get an automatic invitation back the following year to help defend the title with a new team.
• This exemption is good for 1 year only – max 2 consecutive years for a Captain under this exception.

We’ll share more info on timelines and registration as we get closer, but wanted everyone to know what it takes to qualify for 2026 so you can plan your year. 💪
