Hey Edmonton Region, 

Many of you have asked for a Doubles League.

So let's do it!!! Details below⬇️

Game: 8 Ball

Roster: 3 person team (2 play each week)

Min of 2, but 3 is suggested to alleviate possible make-up matches. 

Play Format: Each player plays a full 8 Ball CPA match, and then a special Scotch Doubles match. A total of 3 rounds.

Gender: No Sex restrictions or qualifications

CPA fees: $20/player per week

Team Registration fee - ZERO $

Day of Play: Sundays @1pm

Length: 19 weeks + Playoff week (off Dec 28th)

Location: Racks Billiard Room

(Whitemud & 99st approx)

Skill Level Restrictions: CPA combined SL of 10 to start. Through session the team may move up to 12 (combined).

New players to CPA will be started at appropriate SL (2-7) based on other player rating platforms and observed/known factors.

Players will need to have valid APA annual membership. ($30)

Vegas Trip Qualifier Tournament:

Sun March 1st.

Vegas Pool Players Championships:

TBD (likely end of April 2026)

Other restrictions:

In order to play in the Poolplayers Championships in Vegas, each play will need 20 scored matches in the last 2 years, in the CPA 8 Ball format prior to March 2nd.
